Thorians, a call to arms!

To combat the inferior and ancient race of botters, all of us glorious residents of Thor must cooperate and stick together.

1. Report all bots, together with a working configuration file, to Level-up Games customer support. I, Seto kaiba or better known as Goenitz, will also accept such data.
2. Encourage the players to go to Thor and forsake the old world, now riddled with filth.
3. Report Thor botters to Customer Support. The evidence you must submit must be verifiable, accurate, and most importantly, true.
4. Report to Level-Up all progresses of botters, their developers, and their allies. You shall not show allegiance to these weak beings and their minions.

There are also other ways you can help, but these 3 creeds are enough for me.

Also, in other news, _XP_, also known as h0t_chikk, has been advocating bots in the ragnaboards and after exposing his or her nefarious lies, promptly banned, and his/her trading thread destroyed.

This person claims neither Gravity can do anything about the bots and bots are part of Ragnarok.

A REMINDER.

Rules and enforcement covers people of all kind and condition. People who are sick or ill are not exempt from the rule. Well, maybe those who don't have sound thinking capacity. But my choice; they have to follow too or they will be caught.

Also, arrogance and pride from a mere member is looked down upon by any community. Their intelligence are nullified from the fact that the person lacks Emotional Quotient or Socialization Skills. As the saying goes, it's my way or the highway.

Or is that diseases or certain conditions erode these vital faculties of human thinking? We may never know, but for sure, they're no excuse to cause trouble.

I'm particularly antagonistic of people who use their disabilities as an excuse to cause trouble. There's nothing more annoying than using one's priviledges to cause nothing more than disharmony, strife and conflict.

Especially those people who carries the trait of their severe dislikes. Hypocricy at it's best.

The true legality of bots.

Once and for all, let's settle this.

The INQ7 article that LU has said to given up bots has given rise to proud botters, arguing that their activities are now legal and will not be stopped.

But is such spineless activities truly tolerated?

Let us dissect the article one by one.

If you can t beat them, join them. And for online game distributor Level-Up! it would be time to capitalize on the growing popularity of real-money trading (RMT) and bots.

They have realized how wrong this mentality is. Why did you think they put up Thor server WITH Ragdefender, if they are hopeless in terms of erradication. Furthermore, WHY WOULD THEY WASTE MONEY ON A HOPELESS CAUSE? Businessmen do not waste money.

The company is even planning to have an online auction of rare items on June 28. Although the online auction is not new for the company, the money would be real and not just using Ragnarok s zenny currency.

As for RMT, there are changes of heart upon this matter. Newer MMO models actually promote and tolerate RMT. But why is RMT actually banned here, while tolerated in others?

Simple. You can't tell the trustworthiness of a typical seller, and there are no safeguards should the unlikely happen!

The newer MMO models have a way to secure this; Credit cards and age verification. Plus and auction system where your credentials are visible, plus the provisions of rewards and penalties for users.

But this is not our subject.

And for users of automated Ragnarok characters called bots, the company said it is allowing players to continue using them if only to collect zennies and items. Only during guild competitions would bot users not be allowed entry.

This does not mean the absolute tolerance for bots. Bots still have the restrictions as seen in the 2nd sentence. To say bots are allowed is a mistake; they still have limits.

And with Thor coming, the views of the company is changing regarding this; They haven't really given up upon the situation.

The online game community has become so organic and so diverse that it would be hard to control people from going beyond the bounds of game rules. It s not cheating anymore because everyone is doing it already and it s becoming beneficial for everyone, according to Level-Up! Chief Operating Officer Sheila Paul.

Likewise, a world filled with filth, and to kill them, the world must perish.

So what would you logically do, without hurting existing life?

Make a new world where such things will not exist in the first place!

It s becoming a lucrative business and for one thing, even bot users still have to pay for the time they play the game, Paul said.

Paul admitted that at any given time, a fifth of Ragnarok players are using bots.

While Level-Up! has limited methods against RMTs, the company is still hoping to manage bot users by telling guild masters to monitor their members.

But our message about RMT and bot usage is this: if you re using them, be responsible, Paul said.

Unfortunately, have you seen the attitudes of botters?

Spineless, insensitive and scheming criminals in-the-making. They will grow to be more of society's bane.

Botters' excuse of real life as to not play and rely on cheats are comparable to that of the excuse of stealing to survive.

A laughable excuse, might I add.

And bots are not the only classified 3rd-party programs still under prohibition.

There are fools that still believe on this INQ7 article as their gold-brazen savior.

How pathetic.

Moreover, the LU articles in their announcement in their website do not reflect the hopelessness in INQ7.

Now who are you more inclined to believe? The one in the newspaper or the one who themselves speak?

Newspapers are the middleman. They tend to get the message all wrong, a common mistake where messages get distorted.

Now if it is the people themselves who would speak, it is more deterministic and trustworthy.

To point this further, let's quote the latest Thor news.

See? Under the logic of the INQ7 article, what LU is doing is a complete contradiction.

And we trust LU's words more than a mere news article.

But does this mean INQ7 or Inquirer are publishing a false story?

I wish not to comment on that. There are such matters about it that are far complex for discussion here. Let's leave it at that.

It's been a while.

It's been a long while since I set foot in my blog.

I have been busy both in job and irl.

Firstly, Thor, the anti-bot server will come in the 21st of September. Cheers and jeers abound, I am among these people who rallied that LU do something about the sickness that plagues pRO.

It paid off.

But then, new enemies will come. New challenges, and new destinies.

I am not afraid of my reputation; Such wordly statuses mean nothing in the end.

The destiny in the end is what will define the worth of all your deeds.

Idiotic hackers who doesn't know their victims.

Ragnaboards appears to have been compromised by witless hackers who simply had too much of free time.

But take heart. LU will do somethng about this. Because of the situation, Ragnaboards will be temporarily down until the security issues are resolved.

Another thing, those hackers are attention whores. Don't feed them because that's what they want you to do.

And another; the hackers are high and mighty thinking they have RO database on their clutches and that they hacked LU's network. Well, that's simply a pile of dung. Firstly, it (Ragnaboards) is under Yehey's network, LU does not have direct access to Yehey's facilities. Second, RO servers are nowhere near Yehey's facilities.

What does that show? The hacker is dumber than dumb. A mere script-kiddie. A noob.

They have been barking on the wrong tree all these times.
